Jack Cade's historical death occurred in 1450. The War of the Roses ended in 1485, which was also when the game canonly takes place. To have been old enough to have military experience and to lead a group, he's commonly estimated as having had to have been born between 1420 and 1430... which would make him between 55 and 65 during the game if he is the Jack Cade of history. Those are some good genes there. In the AU, the dates have been shuffled around somewhat, making him 38.
